Removal of Themida reverse engineering posts
Filed Under (Hacking, Open source, Reverse engineering) by 2of1 on 08-06-2012
It was suggested to me that publishing my reverse engineering progress on this might be questionably legal in some countries (even though probably ok in Israel).
I understand that it’s not the reverse engineering itself that’s problematic, rather the publishing of information gleaned through it.
So not wanting to get myself in any trouble – however unlikely – I’ve decided it’s simply not worth posting my findings and have removed the posts. I have a family to think of so it’s not worth it for me even though it certainly was fun!
Sorry!

Hello.
And argh, there goes very interesting series, which was quite educational to me.
Hopefully somebody will publish similar series, as unpackers can be quite badly abused or might be for other reasons needed to be removed. (And some of us are quite curious)
Anway thanks.

You capitalist pig!
@Klimax
I’ll guess I’ll need to keep my findings on this private. Pity I love reverse engineering and I was hoping that my explanations could help other people with their projects.
Yeah, really sorry! I was enjoying writing them
@Magister
